Our Group
The Ayash3 Refugee Sponsorship Group includes ten members who live in the Ladysmith area. Some of us have worked with sponsorship groups before, and some are new to it. A couple have experience with immigration agencies in BC. Two members of the group are relatives of the Syrian family we are bringing to Nanaimo.
We are all committed to aiding this family to reunite and begin building new lives for themselves on Vancouver Island. We hope it will give them a life-changing opportunity for education, employment and security that they don’t have now. It will give them the chance to experience life as we know it on Vancouver Island.
