Sponsorship Group is Responsible To
- Support the family in rebuilding their lives here in Canada
- Provide start-up costs, including rent deposits, furniture and winter clothes.
- Provide on-going monthly costs for basic necessities, including housing, food and other necessities for a year
- Assist the family in completing forms and connecting with important social and health resources
- Support the family socially and emotionally where possible
- Introduce the family to English classes, job opportunities, local shopping, medical assistance, and other community resources.
