Ways to Help

Donate funds to the project.

A. If you need a charitable donation receipt,

Write a cheque and send it to:

Ayash3 Refugee Sponsorship Group,

PO Box 2506,

Ladysmith BC V9G 1B8

Make cheque out to Anglican Diocese of BC – Refugee Program and write AYASH3 on the memo line of your cheque. If your address is not on the cheque, include your mailing address so you receive the receipt.

Donations over $50 qualify for a tax receipt.

Tax Receipts will be processed at the end of the year.

Write a single cheque or a series of postdated cheques if you prefer.

B. If you don’t need a charitable donation receipt

Auto-deposit by etransfer to ayash3account@shaw.ca.
Email the same address for more information or assistance

C. Donate your refundable beverage containers.

Take refundable beverage containers to Junction Bottle Depot in Ladysmith, and before the cashier begins, ask that the credit be applied to Account #499.

Refundable items can also be returned to any Return-It Express kiosk in BC. Just follow the instructions at https://www.return-it.ca/express.

D. Other ways to help

Join the Ayash3 Refugee Sponsorship Group. Attend monthly meetings and work with us on the project.
Add yourself to a list of people willing to help with garage sales and other fundraising projects. Attend garage sales.
Donate furniture and household items to assist the family (this will not be needed until closer to the family’s arrival time. Storage is difficult).
Donate items for a future auction the group is planning to hold.
Tell your friends about the work of the Ayash3 group.
